Made in 1933, this Frank Lloyd directed
film tells the story of a young American man who
is transported back in time to London during the
American Revolution, where he meets many of his
ancestors. Starring Leslie Howard & Heather
Angel, the film was based on a stage play and spawned
a remake called “I’ll Never Forget You”
starring Tyrone Power & Ann Blyth.
Known for inspiring the H.P. Lovecraft story “The
Shadow out of Time”, this nearly lost classic
film blends romance, the supernatural and historical
drama with a subtle elegance.
